Virtual Reality

Collisions by Lynette Wallworth

Collisions is a virtual reality journey to the land of indigenous elder Nyarri Morgan and the Martu tribe in the Western Australian desert. Nyarri’s first contact with Western technology came in the 1950s; sixty-five years later, director Lynette Wallworth carried cutting edge video technology into the desert so Morgan could share his story.

Interactive Multi-Channel Installation

Land's End by Anndunham + Chris Givens

Selection is navigation. In the dream-lodge of Land's End, the scene is a shared room, a psychophysical catalogue of digital material

The Virtual Krewe of Vaporwave
New Orleans' only virtual Mardi Gras krewe livestreamed the First Annual Virtual Parade during Mardi Gras 2016. Comprised of 14 "floats," the parade is a procession of music videos, under the theme "Vaporwave is Dead: Long Live Vaporwave," including tributes to Allen Toussaint, Alan Rickman, and War Not Being the Answer, as well as a loving tribute to Vaporwave itself.

In Memoriam : Trevor Alan Taylor
Cinema Reset was formed in 2012 as a result, and Trevor's ideas served as the foundation for this program, alongside Blake Bertuccelli and the New Orleans Film Society. In honor of one of our original founders, we have come together to share this collection of Trevor’s beautiful photographs and videos, compiled with care by his friends.
